Experience
Evan Flores is a trial attorney with broad experience in litigating complex business disputes. He represents clients in state, federal, and appellate courts, as well as in a variety of arbitration and administrative forums. Mr. Flores has handled a diverse range of cases involving contractual breaches, corporate derivative rights, shareholder claims, dissolutions, fiduciary duty breaches, and other business-related torts. He and the firm work primarily as defense counsel, but occasionally pursue plaintiff’s cases when justice requires. To date, he has helped to secure over $70 million in jury verdicts for his clients and successfully mitigated claims totaling tens of millions of dollars for those he has defended.
Mr. Flores earned his law degree from the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he distinguished himself as an active member of several organizations. During law school, he was involved in Moot Court, Mock Trial, and the Intellectual Property Law Association. Additionally, he was selected to participate in USD’s prestigious Appellate Clinic, where he gained invaluable hands-on experience in appellate practice.
Prior to joining PVF, Mr. Flores honed his legal skills at several distinguished institutions. In addition to working for a prominent complex business litigation firm in San Diego, he previously worked at an insurance defense litigation firm in Orange County and was awarded prestigious internships at the United States Trustee Office and the Unified Port District of San Diego. These diverse experiences have provided him with a well-rounded perspective on the law, allowing him to effectively advocate for his clients in a wide range of legal matters.
