Each of the partners at PVF has extensive and actual trial and litigation experience. Collectively, our three partners have more than 60 years of legal experience, and each has been recognized for his experience and success in and out of the courtroom:
Michael J. Pérez has been a trial lawyer for more than 25 years. He has amassed more than 75 civil and criminal jury trials without a loss. His practice focuses primarily on complex business litigation and class action litigation. Mr. Pérez is a former federal prosecutor and former Counsel to U.S. Attorneys General and Deputy Attorneys General. Mr. Pérez also served as General Counsel to the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. Besides being named Attorney of the Year, he has been recognized in San Diego Magazine’s “50 People to Watch” and, before that, in San Diego Metropolitan Magazine’s “40 Under Forty” notable San Diegans. Mr. Pérez is a former member of the Stanford University Board of Trustees. He is Peer Review Rated AV Preeminent 5.0 out of 5.0 by Martindale Hubbell, and has been named in various California and San Diego “Top Lawyer” publications. Mr. Pérez is fluent in Spanish.
John D. Vaughn has been a trial and arbitration lawyer for 25 years. He has tried dozens of cases to verdict in both state and federal court and over 30 arbitrations to decision in FINRA, JAMS and AAA. He is recommended by The Legal 500 in the area of Trade Secret Litigation calling him “smart, pragmatic and diligent with considerable expertise and a “results-oriented approach;” Peer Review Rated AV Preeminent 5.0 out of 5.0 by Martindale Hubbell; and, has been named a “Southern California Super Lawyer” and “San Diego Super Lawyer” in the areas of Securities Litigation and Commercial Litigation every year since 2012.
Jeff A. Feasby has been a trial lawyer throughout his 15-year legal career. During that time, he has had significant success both in and out of the courtroom. Mr. Feasby has tried cases to judges, juries and arbitration panels and has represented clients in forums from Alaska to New York. Mr. Feasby is Peer Review Rated AV Preeminent 5.0 out of 5.0 by Martindale Hubbell, and has been listed as a “Top Attorney” by San Diego Magazine for 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
